South Pointe Park Beach

Hobie Windsurfer Beach
Not to be missed off the Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne is the long stretch of Hobie Beach facing the open waters of Biscayne Bay. The quintessential spot for windsurfers, there are numerous rental concessions that also offer two hour or full day windsurfing lessons. For pet owners, this is also Miami's favorite dog friendly beach as the water is shallow for ball throwing and romping. The views of the open bay and the Miami skyline are an extra treat while enjoying the leisure and sporty activities.
North Beach - Miami Beach
North Beach is located just beyond Miami Beach and enjoys a wide stretch of sand and a little more solitude. Beach goers enjoy showers, concessions, volleyball nets, and a popular old fashioned band shell that features numerous concerts and music venues. There are numerous cafe's and restaurants along Collins Avenue for a quick bit steps from the beach.
Surfside Beach
Surfside's residential beach runs from the North Shore Open Space Park to 96th Street in Bal Harbour. Fitness enthusiasts enjoy the walking, jogging, or biking along the hard packed sand path that runs along the beach. Beach goers enjoy picnic tables, restrooms, showers, and concession stands.
Bal Harbour Beach
Bal Harbour Beach is a peaceful stretch behind the hotels and luxury condominium towers of Bal Harbour. The palm shaded path that runs along the beach offers lovely views of the clear turquoise water beyond the crystal white sand. There is a jetty to enjoy fishing.
Haulover Beach
Located between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach, the 1.5 mile Haulover Beach adjacent to Haulover inlet is known as the only "clothing optional" beach. It is an area clearly marked with traditional sunbathing also enjoyed. Known for its blue waters and nice sand, Haulover Park offers picnic areas, kite sailing, a tennis center, golf course, and a dog park.
Sunny Isles Beach
Stretching two miles, Sunny isles Beach enjoys white sand and clear waters ideal for snorkeling, diving, swimming, and various water sports. The beach enjoys a classic Newport Fishing pier popular for fishing amongst the locals. The Sunny Isles oceanfront strip offers beach goers ample dining and entertainment options. The nearby Samson Oceanfront Park has a children's play area and a space for outdoor concerts.
