The Venetian Islands are a charming chain of six man made islands that run along the Venetian Causeway from Miami Beach to mainland Miami. The oldest causeway in Miami, the Venetian features 12 bridges, fantastic views of the skyline and cruise ships, limited traffic, and beautiful homes in a lush tropical setting. Driving west onto the Venetian Causeway from Miami Beach, at 15th and Dade blvd, the first island is Belle Isle. The second is Rivo Alto and the third and largest is Di Lido Island. The fourth, and western most island still within Miami Beach, is San Marino Island. San Marco, the smallest of the Venetian Islands is fifth and the last island just before the main land is Biscayne island. The majority of the islands are comprised of single family homes, although a number of waterfront Condominium buildings occupy Belle Isle and Biscayne Island.
Biscayne Island is the western most Venetian Island located between San Marco Island and mainland Miami. Homes for sale in Biscayne Island are located in a community with unique architecture and a diverse blend of waterfront and nonwaterfront lots. Once the site of the Viking Airport, Biscayne Island is now home to upscale single family homes, rental and condominium buildings like 1000 Venetian, and the Venetian Islands toll booth. Biscayne Island homes for sale offers great views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami Skyline.
